Venkatesh Tarakkad

Venkatesh Tarakkad is a seasoned finance leader with over 30 years of experience across Corporate Finance, Governance, M&A, and business transformation. A Chartered Accountant, ICWA, and CISA, he is also an alumnus of Symbiosis, Pune.

Before joining Asia Healthcare Holdings (AHH), Venkatesh served as the Chief Financial Officer at upGrad, where he led the organisation’s domestic and global financial strategies. Over the course of his career, he has held CFO roles across leading organisations in FMCG, Retail, and E-commerce, and has been actively involved in IPO processes and capital-raising initiatives.

He began his professional journey with Ernst & Young and has since played a pivotal role in scaling financial operations, strengthening governance and compliance frameworks, implementing ERP systems, leading funding rounds, and supporting companies through key growth and transformation phases.

At AHH, he will lead the Finance and Business Development functions, with Finance Heads across the AHH portfolio companies.
